Over a decade ago, Dr. Fahimay Naqvi opened the first Orion Dental location in Scarborough, Toronto. Back in 2007, when she purchased the practice that became Orion Dental she envisioned Orion Dental as a dentistry brand dedicated to improving the long term quality of oral health for her patients. She envisioned doing this through the delivery of a superior clinical experience. This she believes is best delivered through technology, consistent education and up-gradation of her dental skills along with that of her associates and other team members.
She opened the second Orion Dental office in 2010, in Milton, Ontario.
Orion Dental clinics are aesthetically pleasing and comfortable offices. The reception area of the offices have aquariums with live colorful fish that draw enraptured children and adults alike. Flat screen TVs and soft immersive music create an ambience which help those patients who are worried by needles or by the idea of going to a dental appointment.
Both Dr. Naqvi and her associates are known for their positive attitude and dependability.
Before opening her first location in Scarborough, Dr. Naqvi had practiced dentistry in the city of her birth; Bangalore, India. Working at the Government hospital there, and thereafter at her own clinic, she worked with a large number of patients from all walks of life and very wide variety of conditions. This work instilled in her not just skill as a dental surgeon but equally importantly the values of compassion.
Dr. Naqvi believes that a healthy mouth is the basis of a radiant smile and Orion Dental’s smile solutions are based on providing the very best dental care for the whole family.
The two Orion dental offices conduct an annual food collection drive that is delivered to the North York food bank in time for Christmas and the holiday season.
Dr. Naqvi has continued her academic journey, and is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and Associate Fellow of American Academy of Implant Dentistry. She continues to deepen her knowledge in implantology with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Fahimay Naqvi – A brief Bio
As a general dentist, Dr. Naqvi has provided comprehensive care for patients of all ages since 1989. Her continuing education has focused on implant dentistry, comfortable care, and endodontics. In 2007, she purchased her Scarborough dental practice, which had been established for 42 years prior. In 2010 she launched the Milton Ontario practice.
She has been married for 25 years, and she and her husband have two children. After hours, Dr. Naqvi enjoys golfing, gardening, cooking, and outdoor activities like nature walks and fishing.

- Associate Fellow of American Academy of Implant Dentistry
Dr. Naqvi is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). She is also an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). She is further continuing her education in implantology with AAID.

in the Community
The Annual Holiday Season Food Collection Drive by Orion Dental
Orion Dental organizes an annual food collection drive that begins in early October and culminates with a collection of non-perishable food items by about the middle of December.
This food collected is then provided to the North York Harvest Food Bank in time for the festive holiday season, to be provided to the people who use the foodbank.
Both our Dental office in Milton and Dental office in Scarborough participate in this drive. Our collection is a result of the commitment shown by our patients who contribute to build up the collection.
A Donation For Every Referral
We try and give back to the communities that we work in. For every patient reference, we send a $50.00 donation in the name of the patient who has made the reference, to the Milton General Hospital or to the Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.
